Let's stop sweeping this crap under the rug. Let's get vocal. It's time this world hugged these Victims! We can become a support group for others in our own small way.
Earlier this week, "Earth Angel" sent us her testimonial.
You can find it quickly via the Quick Navigation link in the right hand margin under the heading, "We Welcome Others to Share. Here are Their Own Personal Ordeals".
We followed up with a thank you note for sharing her story with us and asked her to keep in touch.
We have received back a very telling reply, a look into how a child's life is destroyed as they reach adulthood.
The emotional scars are there virtually every day in the relationship she has now with her partner and the upbringing of her children.
Forward any messages of support you may have for her to GPKVictims AT hotmail DOT com and they will be forwarded to her immediately. Show her how wonderful GPKers and our other supporters are! Please try to take one minute of your time to help her to heal. Simply say something like "I'm thinking of you", letting her know others DO care!
Here is Earth Angel's reply:

I will definitely keep in touch.
Yes my boyfriend is supportive, sometimes I wonder how he puts up with me because I don't think I could deal with someone like me.
I get very emotional quickly and have bouts of depression at least once a month. They don't last but a day or two but it's alot for some people to handle.
If there is anything else I can do to help out let me know.
I have two kids of my own whom I warn about not letting people touch their private parts.
They are also raised to have confidence so they won't be scared to say "no" to someone if they try to touch them.
And I'm pretty strict about who I let babysit them. Pretty much just my mom and their other grandma. I can't trust just anyone. I will never let what happened to me happen to them.
I will be damned if they go through the hell I did.
I want them to be normal, happy kids.
