Did you learn this in Sunday School? Did the Primate?I remember this story taught to me as a little boy in Sunday School at St. Mark’s Church in Longueuil, Quebec.
How horrified I was to learn how easily the Governor, Pontius Pilate, who had supreme authority over all, could have morally saved Jesus, the Son of God, from being flogged and crucified.
Even at that young age, I would look up at stained glass windows, at Jesus on the cross, knowing there are moral things in life that must be done when you have the power to do so, all taught to me by the Anglican Church of Canada.
Matthew 27:24 states Pilate took water and washed his hands.
In my mind, the Archbishop of Canada is a Pontius Pilate. Could he not have taken Bill’s ten questions and ordered them answered?
There are Anglican men and women all over Canada who have been sodomized and raped by priests, living horrible lives, caught in the travesty of these vivid memories.
Bill’s mother committed suicide because she felt she had forced her child into the sexual acts with Bockus. She had innocently sent Bill to help Bockus with the weekly bulletin. Bill’s WHOLE family has lived with this.
For fifty years the Anglican Church has done NOTHING to assist the WHOLE Knight clan! The Anglican Church of Canada did however care for their pedophile priest Bockus: new parish, new salary, in fact - new honourary title!

Bill Knight has finally had the courage to come out and publicly ask questions based on a MORAL OBLIGATION.
It sure appears the Primate veiled his reply behind a rubber-stamped, carefully formulated answer devised in a Toronto legal Boardroom, rather than say, "Bill, I have the power to help you and will."
Essentially the Archbishop of Canada’s letter states, “I wash my hands of any responsibility in your case.” In my mind, he’s another Pontius Pilate, pure and simple!
The Primate has failed Bill.
